Its wood, not particle board - sturdy and stable. Assembly was a breeze. I did it alone, and it came together beautifully. It took me well over 2 hours, but i was going slow, laying everything out, organizing before i got started.
Feels petty, but I have to call this out - the way you get hardware or Allen keys to assemble other pieces of furniture - and the way they sent out the Hardware with this piece, labeled, named, numbered. I was impressed. Not a flimsy Allen Key, an actual good one that Im sure Im going to use in future instead of cheap ones that typically come with the Hardware.
