We put this bed in my kids room a couple of years ago, and could not be happier. The bed itself is sturdy, REAL wood and solid. It helps you make the most of a small bedroom. We managed to put a desk, a couple of shelves and a small armless cushioned accent chair underneath, to really make the most of the space. The drawers in the stairs are one less piece of furniture to worry about. The mattress sits 52 from the floor, so it definitely helps that my kid is small, and youll want to be sure to use a standard mattress.
