Overall, I like this bed. It came in one huge super heavy box. I felt that it was packaged pretty well. I went through all of the parts first to make sure nothing was damaged. All of the wood pieces were in good condition with no damage. The hardware was really a pain though. None of it was clearly marked at all. Sorting through it and figuring out what was what, was an unnecessary pain. Overall, the set up wasnt too bad. Took me about 3 hours by myself. There were a few parts that didnt line up exactly but it was doable. I would definitely recommend this to someone looking for something affordable. If youre looking for excellent quality, this might not be it. For me, it was exactly what I was looking for. Easy to assemble just takes a while
