This bed is perfect. We have a 2 year old and she is so excited to have her big girl bed, she can get in and out of it no problem, and she is a little short like her daddy, so that says a lot. It was pretty easy to put together, the self tapping screws were a little tough so I pre drilled some tiny started holes and no issues. It is sturdy, the the plates tie it all together and hold it nice and sturdy. The rails are a little shorter in length than I would like, but I cut a pool noodle in half and stuck it under the sheet and she cant roll off. I was worried about the Natural one we picked, because of the price I thought maybe it would be unfinished or just not look good, but I was wrong the bed looks aming, we are happy and the 2 year old even went to her bed at nap time yesterday crawled in her bed and went to sleep, normally we have to put her to bed, but she said nothing and went in and went to sleep. If you are thinking about this one, do it We were not disappointed.
