Not so bad. This bed frame is really easy to assemble. The is soft though and I ended up turning a couple of the hard/to/see screws too much and the bowed rather than reaching a limit. The frame still functions properly.
I havent had to disassemble the frame yet, but I foresee it being just as easy as assembly except the bowed portion.
Overall, really pleased. The frame is low profile and holds the mattress properly. The slipcover is nice, but it allows the mattress to slide around. I would repurchase.
