Just fine. I replaced a traditional box spring with this mattress foundation after I bought a new Avocado Green mattress. This foundation does what it is supposed to do. It was fairly easy to assemble once I had it in a room with enough floor space. I was trying to preserve the original height of my bed, and this has worked well. The height//7.5 inches, is a workable height for my bed skirt. I like the fact that it doesnt squeak. The box was pretty heavy, especially when compared to the weight of my old box spring.
