The children have expressed feeling these chairs are much more comfortable than the school's plastic seats
These chairs are exactly what I was looking for as a replacement to my school's metal frame chairs with plastic seats. The school's chairs were bulky and unsafe for the kids to unstack (they had to lift them high) and maneuver in my small office space (bumping into walls, table, and each other). I needed something that an elementary child could stack out of the way against the wall when not being used and safely set up at the table when needed. These chairs fit the bill to a "T". The children have expressed feeling these chairs are much more comfortable than the school's plastic seats, too. The reason I gave these chairs 4 stars and not 5 is because they are a bit wobbly even with children sitting in them, and I am not confident that an adult visiting my office could safely sit in one. They just don't seem sturdy enough for my liking ... just saying.
