Too many parts. Assembly is a pain. The bed itself is cute. It arrived missing one of the slats though. I reached out to the recommended number and they wanted to send me a different color since the the color I purchased is out of stock. Now I have to wait until June. Also the ladder is a bit hard on the feet due to not being flat and a rounded surface. Overall my boys seem to like it. Not sure if I would purchase again though.
