This bed is a very sturdy, well made focal point of my 4/year/old grandsons bedroom. The espresso wood is very dark, almost black, and it looks very striking with his brightly colored quilt. The storage drawer at the foot of the bed is very useful for an extra quilt, and it keeps the room looking neat. Very pleased with the price and quality of this purchase.
