I ordered two sets of these stools for our new counter. They are made for bar height counters, but my wife liked the pictures, so we ordered them and I cut the legs down to fit. If you do cut them down, keep in mind that you will not be able to use the plastic sliders on the bottom. I tried to reuse them but the plastic cap breaks off the nail that holds them. Not a big deal though because you can get stick/ons that work just fine. I dont want to insult anyones intelligence, but make sure you match the angle of the bottom of the legs if you shorten them. A compound miter saw is the best tool for the job. The stools themselves are very comfortable and swivel nicely. They also look good too. They give my dining area a little more of a classy look. I recommend them for either bar or counter height.
Very Nice.
