The bad
1. The firearm holders are foam with cutouts, kind of like the foam in packing boxes so I felt jipped.
2. The instruction manual isnt that clear.
The good.
1. Pretty sturdy for a budget safe.
2. Key pad code.
3. Hidden key lock
4. Safe within the safe with separate keys.
5. Without being mounted, it doesnt tilt when opening but the door closes on it own so you have to hold it when inside.
Conclusion.
Well for around $350 bucks, you get some cool features like the keypad, hidden lock, and another safe with separate keys. Fits my needs perfectly. I needed something light for upstairs, something the kids cant get into, and multiple ways to open the safe. If you are looking for a heavy and secure safe, this isnt it, its light and doesnt seem to hard to smash open. (Maybe Im wrong) but I keep mine in my bedroom. Kids cant get into it. Easy and convenient to access and drilled down so nobody is taking it anywhere. Evaluate your needs and decide for yourself but for 350, Im happy. When I get a house, Ill get a more expensive and secure one but will still keep this one in my bedroom.
