Great Quality Design at a Great Price!

These waders are impressive right out of the box! These waders are one of the most highly satisfying products I have ever bought, and the price was reasonable at under $100. The waders are boxed well and sealed well in a corded plastic bag...no mold or debris anywhere! The boots were well oiled to preserve the rubber freshness, and they smelled well. The design of these waders has been well thought out with a great inside, water proof pocket design for inside security of items (the pocket is on the inside of the wader under the secure lid. There is an outside pocket with a hand slip-in insertion and small drain hole at the bottom of the pocket. The inside pocket has no drain hole to prevent small items like screws and bolts from falling out. I have tried these waders out in cold water just after the ice went out on my lake tp set-up by boat pier. No leaks...great warmth...with a durable material feel. The waders have a design that is set higher on the chest and back to prevent water splashes from entering into the waders. This is well thought out from a customer use perspective. The waders are not a snug fit like a SCUBA neoprene suit, bit large enough to get into and wear comfortably. The legs are just a slight bit longer (in-seam), but no other shorter length was listed in the fitting chart for a Size 9 person. should list leg length options that are at least one or two inches shorter. I need a 29 to 30 inseam, so my waders had a 33 inseam and because of that, they fit a bit loose, but not out of size. The boot size chart is correct, and the Size 9 boots fit well with extra room for a thick sock if needed. There is plenty of room for thicker clothing if needed inside the waders. There are only two slight areas of manufacturing quality that one can criticize. The back and front wader straps are sewn into the upper body of the waders on two sides (inside and outside), but using only one side of the strap (inside) to secure them. The strap material should have been sewn in the waders using both sides of the strap, like a V-Clamp, using two sides of the strap sewn into the wader on the inside and outside to clamp the wader securely. The ProLine waders are sewn this way. Second, some of the the finished thread ends, i.e. in the knee patches, straps, and other areas where the thread sewing run pattern ends, are loose and stick out slightly. Apply a very small bit of Elmers Glue or Loctite Flexible Fabric glue to areas where the thread ends are loose to make sure they dont unravel with age. Glue them so that they blend in with the other threads and attach to the other thread seams so they dont pull loose. I really like the pocket design and think it is excellent. You can place small objects into the pocket under the top lid because the actual pocket is inside of the wader. The outside pockets drain well and do what they are deigned to do. The belt that comes with the waders is very useful. In addition, you get some additional needed accessories with the waders... like wader hangers, a cell phone waterproof pouch, and a leak seal repair kit. This is a step above what other manufactures do to add value to the main product. To that, I say well done to and to keep up the good work.
