the gliding action is very smooth. my wife loves to nurse our newborn in it and is very happy with its quality.
i reserved a star only because of the way it was shipped. it came in a very flimsy box with awkward dimensions. it was very difficult to carry. they also include Styrofoam panels that break apart into a million little pieces and require a thorough clean up afterwards.
