Appropriate for the price We bought the single twin bed in natural.
Shipping was quick. It was left outside our door on a rainy day but very well packaged because everything was dry inside. There was a small box inside that said it contained the hardware. It was empty, but I found another box that said the same thing and did have all the hardware, so nothing was missing. I think these 2 small boxes may have been necessary to fill empty space. Everything was neatly packed.
The pieces had a small odor - partly from the wood itself and partly from the finish. We set them out for a few days before assembling and it went away.
Assembly was simple. The large panel piece that goes at the foot of the bed had an edge that didnt look like solid wood. Maybe the manufacturer can explain that.
Everything seems to be good quality and the bed is sturdy. The stickers show as in the picture, but I think this is a good value for the price - I think better than or non-solid wood beds for a similar price.
If we put it next to the wall, there is almost a 3 gap between the mattress and wall because of the width of the side rail and headboard. Also, it is difficult to find safety rails for a bed without a boxspring. It would be nice if the manufacturer offered a bed with side rails and/or a daybed with a panel against the wall, something like the top half of the bunk bed.
Good value, seems sturdy
