The color is a rich reddish brown which matches other wood pieces in my living room. It arrived quickly, well packaged and undamaged. Assembly was easy. The only complaint is the glue adhering the letter stickers is too strong. It is difficult peeling them off and leaves residue. Glue should be weaker allowing easier removal. Other than that Im very happy with it.
