This is a beautiful platform bed, well designed, sturdy. Heres why 4 stars instead of 5. First when it was in my cart, it indicated a 3-day delivery, but the instant I confirmed purchase, that shot up to 11 days. We live on the East Coast. I tried to cancel the order just a couple hours after purchasing, but was told it was already being shipped. Really? Then the delivery ended up taking yet one day more, so 12 all together. We decided to keep it, and just wait. The assembly on these kinds of frames is pretty good. We had bought a similar one just several months ago. This one, however, had the parts mislabeled (they put stickers to label the parts). This was essentially mirror image. We took an extra 30 minutes or so just mocking up the total construction to get the parts lined up correctly. Fortunately, we had built a similar one just months ago. So: product is great, the price is too. Delivery was annoyingly delayed, but I guess this is not uncommon these days. Assembly could have been simple if the factory put the right stickers in the right place.
