I saw some reviews saying it was wobbly and they were unsure what to do with the metal brackets. They are vital to the stability, and they connect the wooden rails to the head/foot boards. You want the larger side of the bracket on the side rail, the bend in the bracket spanning the gap, and the small end on the head/footboard. The bracket should line up with the very top edge of the rails. The screws provided are pretty sharp, but I used a battery drill making it super easy. There are better directions online, regarding the brackets, than what came in my box.
I think it was a great value, but I only paid $135.
Sturdy if you put it together right
