I believe they didnt put plastic pieces with screws in their hole flush and screw in the screw which makes it stay tight and stay in place. Once their all in their hole/place and tightend, assemble the stand. If you just put the plastic pieces with the screw in the hole without tightening , your stand will be wobbly. Hope this helps....
