I very love this coffee table. The brown color look beautiful and not look too dirty when my child mistake up on the top. The most thing I like is hidden storage, I can put many stuff in it , like tea pack, books, laptop, coffee packs, everything I want to put it in.
One person can assemble but it does take some time. The table is gorgeous and high quality, it is a bit difficult to open and close the table top but nothing too concerning. Its a 5 star product for the price and I reccomend.

It took approximately 4 hrs to assemble and required two people to attach the top. All in all, i feel that its worth the price. Remember, you get what you pay for and this will not compare to a solid wood table that costs $500-$1000.
OK, Its not Ethan Allen, but for the price its great. I was impressed that the parts were marked with removable labels that matched up with the instructions. The instructions say one person can assemble it; well true, if you can figure out how to hold the top in place while you screw it in. I did it by using stacks of books. There was a little glue or something at one of the feet, but it cleaned off.
Overall, would not buy again at this price. Had I seen it in person I would not have purchased it unless it was something like $80 USD. My expectations were not that high,m but the purchase managed to come short anyway.

CONS
Machining of holes is not accurate enough to assure seamless assembly. Some holes for the cam locks were not deep enough for proper engagement, or the hole for the adjoining peg did not properly line up. This makes it hit or miss about getting the thing assembled with precision results. With work, it turned out okay, but I had to do extra work to make it that way and even then it is not perfect.
The hardware could not be any cheaper in terms of quality. Seriously, very poor. The cam locks are flimsy at best and distort easily,. Some were malformed right out of the box. Cast cam locks would have been better.
The boards are about as thin as you can get. The top is so thin that it deflects easily. There are pads on four corners to keep the top from slamming against wood when closing. This is a good thing. However, the top flexes easily in this position. Needs more felt in the middle to support it, or a heavier grade of panel.
There are peel off black circles om a sheet, basically paper, that are used to cover the cam locks. I was shipped four of them. There should have been eight per instructions, so I was short shipped. Even with eight,.which I do not have, there would still be a lot of exposed ugly cam locks. Please ship enough of these to cover every cam lock.
I am concerned the finish will not stand up. There were a few places where the finish had already started to chip off, and it was clear it was a manufacturing defect from a bubble or something stuck in the coating.
The package arrived very beat up and torn. Hard to say what portion of the supply chain is responsible. Despite that the contents seemed okay.
Would not recommend at this price. I do intend to ask the seller to send some of the paper cover things for the cam locks unless I just fab something.
I used this lift top coffee table as a desk for my children. I had read the reviews that the Instructions were difficult so I was a little apprehensive but I bought 2 of these. Wow wow and wow. 110% worth it as a desk for any child, K-12. It pops open to put all their school items and has cubbies on the bottom. They are smaller cubbies and not the dimensions I had read as I was going to put baskets but they ended up not fitting but I used them for something else. All in all these ‘desks’ look great and can be repurposed when the kids don’t need them any longer. Fantastic buy!

Check the address before you drop off package
I like the table very much,but it was delivered to the wrong house. Lucky I have honest Neighbors. Address wasnt even close to being the same.
