I think putting the bed itself with the multiple poles was the most complicated part of assembly but overall my daughter loves it. She spends a lot of time at the desk then in the bed. Mattress is definitely not included
Arrived faster than expected. Love the sleek look it has and great space saver for shared spaces. Was able to assemble on my own although I did purchase service!
There is a lot of bolts and a lot of parts, with a 1/4 inch impact drill though I was able to get it assembled in 1 hour 30 minutes by my self. Check out my video and you can see it assembled in about 5 minutes. The box is heavy over 130 pounds, the weight makes it easily get damaged during shipping. mine had a dent on one of the pieces. With it fully assembled and tightened up it still shakes pretty easy. It dose not bother my 9 year old though, he likes the bed. The ladder does have very thin rungs 3/4 inch square tubing.
