Assembly was fine although the instructions left out an entire step but it was not that tough to figure out what and how. The hinge installation was the toughest part of assembly because the close up diagram was still unclear and confusing. Very comfortable.
We are using this as a liquor cabinet. 14 tall bottles - the cabinet doesnt have enough holes to move the shelf higher up. It would have been ideal to store tumblers (rock glasses) in the cabinet. Instead we removed the shelf. The drawer is great for bar accessories. just what i want!
Some of the reviews made me think twice about ordering these (2) but I took a chance and am glad. They were very well packed, nothing broken, scratched, or missing.
The directions are missing some steps, but I figured it out. I did have my husband help with the doors because they were a little awkward on my own, but that is my issue, not the furniture.

First of all, these are beautiful and pretty sturdy. But, wow do they take forever to put together. I purchased two and one cabinet. It took me ALL day to put them together. Had been looking at these cabinets for several years before finally purchasing. They are really pretty! my friends love it too!
We actually bought this to be a safe space for our oldest son to place and display his sets so his brother wouldnt wreck them. We wanted something that could show off but not necessarily be easy to open. The sliding doors are perfect - as long as we dont show our 4yr old how to work it, he doesnt know any better! LOL. We did buy off to make it alittle more exciting some LED lights that work off a remote and tacky taped them in above the sets so our son can enjoy it since the shelf is a bit dark on the inside for showing things. Id recommend! Great looking
I got this for my husband for some of his pipe tobacco storage. He loves it but more importantly it kept things in order. It was easy to assemble looks great. Fits perfectly under a typical home office window. True to color. So comfortable.
