I am very disappointed because I was pretty excited about this bed but it turns out that it has a ripped up, a little hole, guess someone was too ly to check that it had a hole its not too big but u can see it too much trouble to return!
My boy friend and I ordered this frame for our first place together. We love it, its beautiful and easy to put together. The instructions are clear and the parts are all labeled well. My only grip is that it is it is lower to the ground and the back board is shorter than we anticipated it being. It still works, but I am a bit disappointed in that. Otherwise its cool! Took maybe 40min to put together, if that. We did it together but could easily be done alone.
I do like the look but when I took everything out of the box all of the pieces were splintering off. I sanded everything before I assembled it. One of the pieces even had extra holes that werent supposed to be there and it made it very difficult to complete the last step of assembling the bed. Its also incredibly low to the ground. If you have back and hip problems I do not recommend this without putting a box spring under your mattress for extra height
My first surprise was seeing all the pieces for assembly stored inside the headboard upon arrival, inside the box. ( shavings everywhere) Assembly is HORRID because the instruction manual has absolutely no lettering, just pictures. I cant seem to find an assembly video anywhere.
I love it, very sturdy and holds both my box spring and jumbo mattress. Makes my bed higher but I like it like that. The headboard is lovely. Everything is delivered in 1 long box. About 78lbs, and all pieces are packed into the back of the headboard in an attached velcro pouch.
