I purchased this for my childrens games, and while we were trying to move it, it fell apart in the middle and tore up my wall as well as fell on my son, it should be sturdier where the top and bottom attach. Once it came apart once it did it again and again until we got it where we wanted it.
The instructions were reasonably easy to follow and the cabinet went together well. Just put it together close to where it goes because it is heavy and fairly awkward to move by yourself.
The price was great! The final assembly: the doors were a little bit off, but the finished product looks great and provides an excellent storage solution that looks much better than our modular plastic storage behind the door.
I am giving this company five shining stars. When my cabinet arrived the packaging on one side was badly damaged and therefore, two of the cabinet doors were considerably damaged also!! I contacted and without hesitation they are replacing the two doors and requesting extra packaging to avoid damage on the new doors! I ordered two cabinets and a storage cabinet, which are just the right size, and look wonderful along the wall in my office. For the price they cant be beat.
This storage cabinet works just fine. Like everything else these days, some assembly required. Ha. I had one of my teenagers put it together for me and I wont complain. This is not a complaint. A door is crooked. Just ever so, one of those deals where you have to slightly lift the door in order for it to close flush. So entrust the project to someone whos workmanship you trust. Other than that, the quality is pretty good and matches our cupboards enough that it looks like it came with the kitchen. The assembly hardware is good quality and the instructions are easy enough to figure out. We are using it as a little pantry and it works great for that.
So Im using this daily, Im glad I bought it, however it is not a solidly constructed as I would have preferred. When I received it I had to reorder half a dozen panels as they were cracked and chipped. Those panels were sent quickly and without complaint by the company who makes the product. Even so I had to use a Furniture pen to mask a couple of Nicks and dings I hadnt seen earlier. I was put together it looks lovely in my office and it stores quite a lot! However, next time I will be looking for a different cabinet.
This cabinet turned out great! It was difficult to get it started, as the pictures can be hard to follow. However, after building the base, the rest of it was a piece of cake. I was hesitant to purchase the cabinet after reading other reviews, as other people claimed the pieces came scuffed up, cracked, etc. or they struggled to build it because of the holes not being lined up properly. Our cabinet came out of the box unscathed for the most part, and we did not have issues with the holes being lined improperly. After putting it together, we did have to use the wood marker, primarily on the corners of the cabinet, but it covered up all spots nicely.
