This was just what I was looking for. The only problem was with the assembly. On the first step the instructions did not say to make sure the finished side was facing the correct way. I did have to take it apart and start again when I realized that.
Gorgeous! Looks just like the pictures. The only reason I marked it down a star was because I could never get the doors aligned right. They scrape the bottom a little on both sides. When you buy this, they even send an additional email with more detailed instructions about the doors. I was to tighten the top screw to get the doors to raise up and I tried everything on those screws until I stripped a couple and had to find others around the house to hold. Oh well! It still looks looks great and is functional.
Looks nice, well built, relatively easy to put together. Only complaint is that the size is just a tad bit too small to accommodate two adult shoes in each bin. I wear size 11 mens shoes and I cannot fit two pair side by side (literally 2 inches less space) in each bin. Widening this a tad would be good.
We got around it by sharing bins - one pair of adult and one pair of kids shoes per bin.
Wow! I usually hate building furniture and it takes me HOURS. This took me under an hour and the instructions were the best and most well written instructions I’ve had for furniture building in a long time. Very easy to follow and assemble! Everything was labeled. Material was high quality and not flimsy like most furniture I buy from Ikea or Wayfair. The finished product is absolutely beautiful and now my puppy won’t eat our shoes anymore!
This thing is way too expensive, however, it is beautiful and well made. We used it to hide wires in our living room and it is super nice. We put fancy matte black handles on it.
