Everything went together smoothly, the finish looks fantastic and it is as dark as the photo renders which is what I had wanted. Canadian made bonus! My son really likes this bed as we have the storage headboard as well. Drawers are working well, purchased some fairly flush handles to add to the functionality of the drawers, but I like the modern look of them. Overall nice clean lines and simple.
Box arrived on time, very heavy of course, but as to be expected. Good alternative to solid wood as it looks great but costs much less. Only down side: Probably not something I would want to move houses with too often (think ikea - does not come apart and go back together 10 times very well), but for under $200 I can purchase a new bed if damage occurs during a move.

Needed a replacement for one of the drawers. Contacted SouthShore and they got me a replacement sent out very quickly. One thing I will note is that the replacement parts are produced at a higher quality than the original pieces. In this the wood is much more dense in the replacement and looked nicer and smoother. The original was a much coarser cut and quality.
It's very sturdy and is perfect for my 12 yr old son whom is about 5'8 and weighs approx 125 pds. Really like the color and does not take up much space.
We got this for our 9 year old son. He loves it. I wasn't sure if we would like the color in person (rustic oak) but it's a very nice light tan/grey. It's veneer but it looks nice . The directions said it required 2 people to assemble; however, I was able to easily do it alone in a couple of hours. The drawers glide smoothly and hold more than I expected. There weren't any broken or missing parts even though my box arrived damaged.
All pieces were delivered. All in perfect shape. Very heavy made for the price. I put it together by myself with no issues...I would just make sure you put it together in the room it will be in...it is heavy! And I love the rustic oak color.

This bed was great. It's for a little 2 year old but is very nice. Especially like the 3 drawers underneath.
