One of the lower level bed pre/assembled parts was incorrectly assembled and now I cant complete the assembly of the lower level bed.

    Not well supported

Bed slats on the full are way too spaced out. They offer little to no support. My wife is a small woman and stepped up on the bed to hang a picture and one of the slats snapped right in half. We bought a bracket to fix it but a few days later, the trundle was pulled out and a kid jumped on the full size bed and completely bent the middle support pole. Not a large kid by any means. Going back to Home Depot for a second time to try and find more ways to support the bed.

I was disappointed to notice that the white paint was chipped from .

The bed seems to be solid and well built and my toddler loves it. However, I was disappointed to notice that the white paint was chipped from some areas on the bed. Since the bed is already assembled and I paid to have it assembled, Im not going to return it. But given the high price point and the overall bed being well made, the chips are extremely disappointing.

    QA problems

I like the style, easy to assemble and quick shipment so it is 2 stars but definitely I got a bad one. / One of the holes was not drilled deep enough to attach the foot board to the rail, so I had to get a 9/16 Forstner bit to deepen the hole to attach the bolt. It was a pain as I had to drop everything, go to the home center to buy the specialized drill bit just for one use, / One side of the trundle finish has roughness and I needed to sand it down with steel wool to reapply the clear finish, / The slats are just raw cut from 2x4 lumbers; the slats included with the trundle were not even sanded. Rough edges and splinters are still there waiting to get your fingers. I sanded the slats to ensure that they are safer to handle such as making bed. Unfortunately, once the bed and trundle shipping boxes are opened, it is next to impossible to repack to send it back for replacement. Besides, the replacement can be worse. Two star rating is a bit generous for what I received.

Good bed but with very poor assembly instructions

Very good product, sturdy and well made. The trundle bed could use a better design, as it lays under the main bed without any connection or running rails or anything. The assembly is not straight forward. Im a DIY and an engineer and have done this kind assembly pretty much my entire house. This was clearly the worse assembly instruction ever. The instructions are not clear enough on what side each peace goes and up side or down. The parts are not marked neither. No text on the instructions, only pictures. So i had to disassemble parts of it 5 times (not the entire bed!) bc i would find out as i progressed that obe part was upside down, or in the oposite side, making me disassemble and reassemble that piec back. Took about 4h bc of that. Typically it would be about 2h if no rework is needed. If you manage not to loose or sht over the assembly and do a good job, the ber is very decent. Overall product is a 4 stars, but the assembly instructions is not more than 3 stars.
