It is grey, not even creme, no where near gray. Bought this and a cherry Zinni bed. Cherry one was excellent, this not so much. Photo of comparison to styrofoam as a known color
Solid, well constructed, well thought out assembly, robust good quality metal hardware with spare parts. The gray color jumped the price a bit, but nevertheless an excellent product for the price and the gray makes it an easier fit in any room in the future. Much sturdier than many more expensive beds I checked in stores. I couldnt expect more from this purchase, in fact, I was surprised by the quality.
