Honestly I was a leary to buy a warehouse deal knowing the cabinet was likely less than perfect. When it arrived on my doorstep I was very nervous as the carton was badly damaged. When I started to open the box I was even more nervous when I saw how poorly it had been repackaged inside. So I held my breath and pulled the cabinet out of the box to thankfully see there was no serious damage. Yes, there were some nicks and chips in the wood but I re/touched those with a stain pen. As well, the wood door had an ash white look to it so I liberally applied wood oil to the door and got it looking like it should. The door was also not as smooth as I would like so I oil rubbed the bar and door slides perfectly now. Because it is a rustic wood cabinet the imperfections are acceptable. Regarding the install I did use the included dry anchors but have read where some people have used the dry anchors to only have the cabinet fall off the . In my opinion if you put the anchors in correctly and dont overload the cabinet you should have no problem. Im not sure it was necessary but I did drill a wood screw through the cabinet into the stud behind the dry for peace of mind. Again, if you dont put too much weight in the cabinet I think the dry anchors are sufficient as the cabinet itself is not very heavy. All in all I saved some money buying a warehouse deal and am happy with my purchase.
It isnt the strongest if you want high quality furniture then you will need to pay for it but for the price and for my little studio apt it is perfect. It is sturdy enough. The drawers are made of heavy cardboard canvas and if they wear out I can replace them the desk and shelves fit perfect and serve my need for drawer space and shelf space.
I absolutely love this wood table/cabinet. Its exactly what I envisioned and looks great in my living room. As a bonus it has a door which I have always wanted but it just wouldnt work in my home. This only makes the piece more detailed interesting. Lovely table which I am very happy I purchased. Also saw exact same thing on another website for over 100 more.
Perfect! I took my time and did a lot of comparison shopping first. So happy with our decision! Also want to note after reading some reviews that mine came with all appropriate hardware and was very easy to hang. LOVE this!!!
