Im a very particular and picky person when it comes to furniture, and I was highly impressed. The only thing I warn people about with this bed is if theyre very clumsy (as I am), place it in an area with lots of space so that you avoid stubbing your toes on the legs if its dark. Granted, after you hit it twice youll learn to be more careful very quickly haha.
It is extremely sturdy even without any screws! Im not the lightest person, so that was definitely a concern of mine. It feels very stable and safe.
I dont use it for storage as I really aimed for a clean, minimalist look for my bedroom, but it can absolutely be used for such.
There was a very small dent in one of the most obvious places on a leg when it first arrived, but it was SO MINUTE that I havent been able to spot it since I assembled it a month ago, and I definitely would notice it if it was obvious enough.
The box is a good seven feet long and its not the easiest to balance if you need to take it up several floors, so be aware that you should have someone help you to lift it carefully. It wouldnt get damaged, but it can be taxing on ones back, so have extra help just in case.
This bed frame is everything I was looking for: solidly constructed, simple to assemble, sturdy, squeakless, and affords me lots of underbed storage room. Im completely satisfied with the purchase.
This bed frame is very sturdy and simple to assemble. It doesnt use fasteners, the pieces interlock. Its the perfect height for a normal thick mattress with no boxspring. Im glad I didnt buy the 18 inch height bed frame.
My husband was able to assemble this by himself in about 3 hours. It is sturdier than I anticipated and I feel safe enough for our 2.5 year old. He can climb up and down it easily/ what I really like is that the ladder is sturdy and fairly comfortable to walk up and down.
Bought this as a guest bed that I assembled it by myself in 15 minutes! It is sturdy, looks nice, and hides a ton of stuff underneath it. I only deducted 1 star, because you can hear the velcro screech a little when laying down. Otherwise its perfect!
Update 4/2022:
Due to a move we started using this as our main bed for the last 6 month. 2 adults weighing 550 lbs together and my husband is 67. We moved some pillows in between the wall and the matress to give him a few extra inches. Bed is comfortable and quiet. The initial velcro screeching stopped once the slats fully adhered to the bed, which took only a few nights.
The frame does appear to be sturdy, however i am very annoyed that I paid for a brand new item that arrived in less than perfect condition. One leg was badly dented and one of the sides was also bent, so I had to pry it back into shape with a screw driver. To be fair, I have not contacted the seller, so they have not had an opportunity to make it right. But as far as the review goes, the packaging needs serious improvement. A customer expects a package to arrive undamaged and the product also. I did not pay for a damaged bed frame, so I am a bit mad about that. On the positive side (rant over) the bed frame is sturdy. If the company improves its packaging so it arrives in pristine condition, I think customers would be very happy with it. I want a partial refund for receiving my bed frame in a damaged condition.
Great design // easy peasy for one person to put together quickly. The frame is solid sturdy. There are plastic protectors on the bottom of the legs for easy sliding. If youve got OCD tendencies and like the sheets to look perfect, you can reach underneath between this frames wood slats and pull on the fabric edges for a tighter fit !!
