I wanted a small buffet cabinet with shelves to accommodate some books, plants and collectibles. This piece was perfect for my needs, with the two open shelves and the two closed shelf areas.
Although the cabinet is not made of solid wood, once assembled it is a solid and sturdy piece of furniture. Easy to assemble with the step by step instructions, gettting a proper balance on the doors was the most challenging.
I wanted a buffet with a plank style top, but this one fit my budget and space in my tiny kitchen, so I ordered it and customized it to how I want. I just used 4 1x4s and cut them to the width of the unit but let them overhang a minuscule amount on the front and back as the outlet is behind the buffet anyways. Works perfect. Added matching shelving, not quite complete yet but definitely worth it.
This is exactly what my wife and I have been looking for. Very easy to assemble and very sturdy. Awesome table for a dining, living room, hallway, kitchen or man cave. You will not be disappointed with this. We received it a few days earlier than expected so that was a bonus. As soon as I got it I opened it up to make sure all parts were not broken or any hardware missing. So make sure to do a check list before assembling to save yourself a headache.
