You will need then mattresses to be able to use this bed. This bed is sturdy and well-made. The rollers turn off the trundle are great! It is also great that it is freestanding so that you can move the trundle completely out-of-the-way to use the king bed.
We use this as a couch and it’s awesome. Use a power drill to screw in everything just light with the power drill.

It took my wife and I 1.5 hours to put together, with a 15 minute break. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The bed is very attractive and solid wood. I used my drill to attach all the slats, but it could be done with a screwdriver and patience. The bed is rock solid when assembled. We put a 10 mattress on top and a 6 on the bottom, with no clearance issues. Overall a very good purchase, and would buy again.
This beautiful bed is in my room. It is very comfortable and doesn’t squeak when I move. I love the distressed gray paint and I have a vintage white quilt on it that looks nice. I feel like it was a great purchase at a good price! My only issue is the trundle should have brakes on the casters as it rolls around.
My daughter absolutely loves her new bed! I would give 5 stars of it were just a bit sturdier, everything was pretty easy to assemble I did it by myself in about an hour or so.
Its a decent bed. I was able to put it together pretty easily with the instructions. Be careful not to tighten screws too tight or wood will split. It is a good bed for the price.
Overall nice but photo of product have been photoshopped. As you assemble there are 3 large gold bolts that show on the front of each arm. Photos show it aa all white BUT in actuality the assembly bolts show on the front of it which cheapens the overall look
