This is a beautiful bed. It took about 3 hrs to put together, the headboard being the most time consuming considering all the spindles. It was so worth it though.
It was delivered early, but instructions are very extensive. Havent been able to complete the assembly because one of the main parts was broken. Still waiting to hear back from the company about a replacement part. Based on those two things, i give this product 2 stars. My rating may change upon completion of set up
Update 2/15/20: finally received the replacement for the broken part and completed set up. Frame looks great and holding up great. Updated rating to 4 stars due to length of time to receive replacement part from manufacturer and length of time for set up
Pretty sturdy. My husband and I are both slim people and weve had this bed for a few months with no issues. The only downfall for me is how low to the ground it is. We use a foam mattress that doesnt require a boxspring, so the bed since even lower than normal. Took us a while to put it together but it wasnt difficult to understand the directions, just time consuming.
This bed frame did take about 5-6 hours to put together as other reviewers mentioned, but this did not bother me. I did not find the instructions difficult to understand, which some others mentioned. They seemed pretty straightforward if you are good at visual instructions/diagrams and if you take the time to be sure you have the correct part in the correct orientation. I did purchase two additional plates and screws to add extra strength to where the running boards join at the foot of the bed - the kit comes with plates and scres for where they join at the head. My only grievances are that the right-side running board was slightly warped and I could not make it sit flush with the running board at the end of the bed, and one of the support slats was cut about 1/4 too short. Some steps may have been easier with another person, but I am a small woman and managed it all on my own. Overall, I am satisified with this piece and recommend it to the visually-inclined who enjoy the process of putting an item together. It looks great!

Its so perfect i feel like I love in downtown alley. its so beautiful and it fits my memory foam mattress perf i think they were made for each other? Its really cute .. idd show but its a bed head messy in a good way! omg its solid. I love it! I love the light gray.maybe its dark gray?? whatever, I FRICKEN LOVE IT

Headboard unusable
Spindles were way too short on the headboard, so couldnt use it. Hard to screw/drill in. Not worth it
