This is a nice rocking chair. I am short and found I needed a pillow at my back that allowed me to sit a little closer to the front of the rocker. The chair is nice looking. I did struggle to get some of the screws in while putting it together, and I couldn't get one screw in altogether. Using the allen wrench was a pain and it took alot of patients. Overall I am happy with the rocking chair and I can't wait to get it out on the porch as soon as the painters are done painting the house.
I received and assembled this chair yesterday, and it is already bringing me hours of enjoyment on my front porch. Other reviews are spot on - it is sturdy, nice looking, and comfortable. The assembly was not too bad, doing it by myself. However, even following the directions to not tighten screws until the last step, one screw would not go in all the way. The wicker is plastic and a neutral, brownish gray. The chair rocks well, and is quite roomy. If you are big and tall, it will suit you. With my shorter legs, I needed to add a lumbar pillow. Still, I am quite pleased and hope the chair will survive a long time on my covered porch. Just wish they offered a side table to go with it. UPDATE: I ordered a second to have a pair. It had slight defect in one of the rocker rails, but nothing a little epoxy couldn't fix.
Love this chair! It goes so well with my beach decor living room! Assembly tough with lining of the screws; but so worth it! The company was excellent in returning my emails ! Highly recommend this product and company!!
This chair does not take very long at all to assemble. It came with everything needed for assembly. I would caution to check for any small nails that could be sticking out from the wicker. I was scratched by one hard enough that it made me bleed. Found the small nail and resolved the problem. Otherwise - love it!
I don't normally write reviews, but I love this chair. It is very pretty and seems to be well made. I am an 80 year old woman and am not mechanically inclined, but I put this chair together by myself. The only problem I had is that you have 12 screws to hand tighten before using the allen wrench. By the time I got to the last screw to use the allen wrench, I had turned the chair over so many times, the screw fell out. Had a difficult time getting it lined up again and tightened. Other than that, it was easy to follow the directions. It would have been easier if there had been another person to help hold pieces in place, but I only had myself to do it. It is definitely worth the money. It looks very pretty in my sunroom here in Florida and I know I will enjoy it very much.
