My husband and I took approximately an hour to put together because we are a bit fussy to make sure it was right the first time. Instructions were picture which was no problem as we has assemble Ikea before. Love it. Just what we needed in the corner and looks much more expensive than what we paid for it.
Based on how the box had been taped up and what looked like a few scratches that had been repaired it was obvious that my unit had been a return. So I was expecting issues with assembly and/or to be dissapointed with the finished piece.
But everything was fine and it came out great!
Pro Tip; dont even start the assembly if you dont have the right screwdrivers. Im sure this is the reason for many of the negative reviews.
Youll need an 8 or 10 5/16 slotted driver for the cam locks. The reason is the handle size and being able to get enough torgue on. Then in addition to a 2 Phillips for most of the screws youll need a 6 or 8 3 Phillips for attaching the door hinges.
Mine came already opened and taped shut. I knew when on so saw that, it was either missing pieces or damaged… I was right about the latter. But it was so heavy to move on my own, I just put it together and made it work. should really inspect returned items before shipping them back out! Yall make too much money (I know bc I literally throw money at yall) to send defective items

Lots of pieces, lots of work! Came out nice and looks really good in bathroom for extra storage but would not want to do that again!!!
