These chairs are beautiful. It seems they have fixed the instructions for the screw issue. Also found that if you put all the screws in place before tightening it makes assembling the chairs so much easier. Took 15 minutes with 2 people for the first chair and 5 minutes by myself for the second one.
The chairs are really pretty. The assembly is not so pretty. The screws that connect the legs to the chair should be longer. I had to remove the foot ring, attach the legs to the seat FIRST, then the ring last. Thats the only way I was able to build this. Still happy with the purchase.
These barstools are gorgeous. The brass legs are so chic, and make the stools look quite expensive. Love the grey velvet seats. They are very comfortable, but not if you like to lean back in your chair. Kinda forces your posture to remain upright. Main complaint is the fact that they were difficult to assemble. The screws did not always line up, and had to compensate by only screwing on 3 out of 4 screws. Hopefully it stays together. It feels sturdy so far!
Beautiful and sturdy chairs but very hard to assemble. I had to step away from it because of frustration. Thanks to the comments I figured it out finally. You have to pull and force the screws in for the round part of the chair. The instructions does tell you the wrong screws, you would have to switch and do the opposite for E and F.
These are pretty good value for money , but I was hoping for a VELVET stool as per description and they would of been great value for money , but the fabric is actually a suedette , so a faux suede fabric. I ordered 4 stools , w boxes and one box of stools they turned up were very badly marked and imprinted in the seat fabric surface . However , if these were a crushed velvet , you could get away with this and steam the fabric and remove the marks . However, this is A cheap fabric quality and so the stools show the marks badly on the seat sadly . Waiting for the companies response on this .
First, these chairs are GORGEOUS. Would 100 buy again. However, they are difficult to assemble. Everything doesnt line up exactly as it should and you really have to utilize some strength to push things in the right position. The instructions also have an error. Screw F should go into the round foot rest of the chair and screw E should go into the bottom of the chair. Assembly definitely caused a headache and a few hours, but it was worth it.
These chairs are so freaking gorgeous! I just moved into a new studio so I needed bar chairs that were cute comfy. As a short, plus size woman, I needed them to be big booty supportive sturdy. These delivered! However, assembly was horrific. Im an IKEA pro and I was struggling, girl. Also the instructions say to use the wrong screw at one point, it was a lot. It took 2 hours but worth it and I would buy again

Add the Foot Ring LAST

Great but needed additional screws
Beautiful and just what I wanted but the screws that were sent werent long enough to actually stick in the hole so I had to go buy new ones
