I’m giving this a 2 star review for only one reason, it didn’t come with the plug, to plug it into the wall. The only way to use it is with batteries which was not my intention. My boyfriend loves it I’m just so disappointed that he’s not able to plug it into the wall for use.
This does exactly what I had hoped for, and at a very reasonable price. It takes care of both my antique self winders as well as my newer Seiko kinetic watches.
So far the winder is very nice. Great winder for the price. Look is classy and motor is quite. I will probably buy another one for my other watch. The only part I do not like is the pillow. The pillow is a little too big. I wish is was a little more fluffy. I suppose it needs to be like that to fit bigger wrists. Overall quality is good. I would recommend it.
I also want to note that the box is spacious. My previous winder did not have enough space between the cover and the watch. My watch would also hit the cover when rotating. This winder has plenty of space. You should still have clearance even with a watch that has a huge face/case like 47mm or 50mm. I have a a 45mm rotating and it has room to spare.
I ordered this device to keep my automatic Tissot watch wound in between wearing. The instructions are clear, the box is attractive, and its easy to insert the watch into its holder. I keep it in the bedroom, but that is no problem as it makes no noticeable noise to interfere with my sleep. Most importantly, it keeps the watch wound properly so that it keeps the time, day, and date correctly over several days of non-use of the watch (while wearing others).
