My husband and I wanted something mid century like to go in our family room to compliment our couch. We have a pretty small room, so fitting a couch and chairs is difficult. These chairs were purchased do to the overall all clean look but more so for the size. It fits perfect in our little space.
Some cons are of course the fake . It doesnt bother us, but for some it might. Surprisingly tho, these chairs have a high quality look and feel to them for the price. They are moderately comfortable, and even more so if you put a bolster pillow behind.
I would recommend these chairs if you are looking for quality at a less expensive price point.
Exactly what I wanted! Great side chairs adding color into my home. They are very comfortable and sturdy. The chair is not a bright which is what I wanted.
These chairs are very nice looking and easy to assemble. They are fairly inexpensive but do not look cheap, they look like quality, chic pieces. The wood is a dark espresso wood, not black and the white is a very loud, bright, pure white. I do wish there was an option for a more subtle off white or cream but I loved that this chair had the dark wood to match with what I already had.
I was a little concerned that this chair would feel flimsy and cheap. It doesnt. The deep red of the chair looks great. The slight lean back makes this a great reading chair and incredibly comfortable.
There is some good and bad with this. I still gave it 4 stars though,I wasnt expecting a 500 chair for 118.
The good: chair is fairly comfortable and it was easy to put together. Took about 20 minutes to put together.
The bad: the nuts, bolts and washers came in a bag all together. (Here is a hint to assemble quicker. Group the hardware together and label them according to the assembly sheet. That will make the assembly go smooth). There are some scratches on the wood. Easily covered with a dark brown marker. Some areas of the wood did not have a radius on the edge.
For what youre paying dont expect top quality, for what you are paying its definitely ok! Would I buy it knowing this, yes I think so.
