All wood frame, easy to assemble, comes with extra nuts and bolts, the way the slats install is awesome. Put a memory foam mattress on it and it fits perfect. Frame doesn't wobble around or squeak when you get in or out of the bed not when you move around while in bed.
I bought a twin size bed. The quality of the bed is good and also it was easy to assemble. There were two scuff marks but they were in a non-visible area. I don't like the slats as they aren't thick and can sag easily under load. Also, there is no middle support under the slats so the assembly video is misleading. I doubt very much the weight rating of 500 lbs for this bed other than that I like the bed and its quality.
The company that designed this bed should get all the praise possible. From packaging to final setup, everything is perfect, with total attention to detail. The bed came beautifully snuggled into its box, on a par with packaging from Apple. Everything needed is provided, along with an online video that really helps. I'm 73 and managed to assemble the bed all by myself. The bolts and screws were neatly sealed and fully labeled. There was even a set of spare parts! All the pre-drilled holes lined up, which is something of a miracle these days. The design of how the parts go together is genius. Once assembled, the bed feels very solid. The solid wood is beautiful. This is the sort of quality that is hard to find these days.
I was concerned about the quality but once I got it together I was amazed at how solid this bed is made. The one thing that I don't particularly like is the feet on the end of the bed sticking out a little ways but I would not let that stop me from buying this bed. It is a GREAT bargain for the price.

assembly, and really paid attention to detail, from extra parts, velcro to keep the bed slats in place,

I purchased the chocolate stained queen size bed for our guest room. It is a beautiful rich shade of brown with a slight mahogany hue. It arrived earlier than expected and was very easy to assemble. The kit came with all the tools/bolts necessary to assemble the bed frame along with a little ratchet tool that we will use again on other projects. In addition the package also contains some bonus spare parts...I'm guessing incase you lose a bolt or two during a move. The bed slats have hook and loop (Velcro) running down the sides so they stay firmly in place. They really thought of everything with this bed. It is solid and beautiful.
Good for the money, sturdy. The bolts can easily be over tightened so be careful! Looks nice. A bit more knotty than I expected, but beautiful pine none the less. Looks a bit awkward with a thick mattress(15 inches).
Love this bed, but it doesnt come with great instructions. To save someone else the headache: the bolts with the flat ends are the ones that go in the locking mechanisms (holding the legs of the bed to the side rails).
Other than that - LOVE this bed. The frame is very solid. All of the parts fit perfectly together. I checked it with a level when I finished putting it together, and it is spot on. The wood is well sanded and finished and has such a natural beauty. It is a well made, high quality product. Even without a proper instruction guide, 5 stars.

It's a bit small for a 15 inch deep mattress, but otherwise nice.

Flat-end bolts go in the locking holes!
