Purchased this bunk for my two youngest daughters, ages 7 and 8. It took a full night to assemble, you cannot do it alone, will need another hand. Start with organizing and separating all of the pieces into groups and once you do step 1 its pretty easy from there. I will say some screws were hard to put in. You will need a drill for the stairs part I believe there were supposed to be holes at the top to insert the screws, but we had to create two.

This bed is great! We bought it for our son so he could have a big boy bed to have sleep overs in. The only problem is that the bed platforms are actually twin xl sized. I purchased 2 twin sized mattresses and there is about 5 inches of space at the end. Not a huge deal, but it should be known that these are twin xls and not twins. Better than I expected!

I rarely write reviews but I read a lot of reviews before purchasing because its a big piece of furniture and it would be a huge pain to return if it was junk. Kids are hard one things so I didnt want to overpay for something that will undoubtedly get scratched and banged up. For the price its a good deal. Took me roughly 6-7 hours to put together about 4.5 to make the two twin beds then another couple hours to finish everything. I took my time and read the directions closely. I did it by myself until I needed my husband to help lift one bed on top of the other. My only issue is the wood is pretty soft. If you tighten the screws to much it quickly smashes the wood. I scratched off the stickers with my finger nails and it definitely dents easily. But again, great deal for the price. It looks good and seems pretty sturdy. Just what I was looking for
This bunk bed is perfect for my girls. Its definitely big enough for then to grow into...and when they outgrow sharing a room it can be converted into 2 separate twin beds.
The directions are a bit lengthy, and we all know dads dont need instructions right? So it only took me taking it apart twice to finish the bed correctly
Once fully together it is sturdy enough to hold them, and their mom on the bottom bunk with no problem! The kids have camped out on the top bunk and it is rated for a medium size adult so they are good to go on it. Overall we are happy!

This bunk bed was super easy to assemble. It took myself and my two tween daughters under an hour to set up completely. I would recommend.
