Better than I expected! I love this bed! My daughter needed an upgrade from her crib and Ive been wanting to get a bed like this for her. It was easy to assemble and came with all the pieces needed and instructions. The only thing was that a couple pieces of the wood had small scuff marks on them, which definitely could have been from shipping. Overall great purchase!
If youre trying to decide- buy it. We purchased this bed for our son 2 years old. He loves it!! He began to sleep in his bed alone fist time after a long time co-sleep with the mother.
Assembling the bed itself really takes time, you have to be at least 2 people to put them together spending several hours. The instructions are mostly drawings and a bit of explanation. However, I found the instructions to be not very clear. Some steps do not really makes sense. The L- shaped tool used to be as a screwdriver has really thin and short so it does not really fit in your hand. I had to use an extension to turn it. If you have power tools may be better but do not use excessive force to tighten. Other than that , after you assembled all, it is a solid bed your kid will enjoy sleeping in.

Most importantly my son loves it too!

Excellent, Stylish and safe We are very happy with this bed! It is very sturdy, good quality and just beautiful. My two year loved it and for the first time ever he slept in his own bed. The only complaint that we have is that the instructions are somewhat confusing and we had to take it apart almost halfway and rebuild it the right way. It took my husband about two hours and he built it by himself. If youre looking for a montessori bed for your toddler this is the perfect bed for you!

I really wanted to be happy with this bed, but it came with at least 7 exposed chipped wood/paint! I can still smell a strong odor (of a fresh paint) as if they did a quick painting and wrapped everything to be shipped As to sturdiness, it does seem ok so far Overall if I had seen this with this quality I wouldnt have purchased it Ill post pictures when assembling is complete Kind of disappointed in this purchase
