I didnt pay attention to the measurements and thought it was a taller bed. My son actually likes this better. It was hard to put together as the instructions were not clear in some areas. The bed is sturdy and works great. I put together a hideout underneath with a beanbag chair, led lights that go all the way around, etc. Highly recommend this bed.
My grown son helped me put it together. I cant imagine doing it alone because you need someone to hold one rail while the other person attaches it to the other side. When we opened the box I was intimidated by all of the prices but it wasnt too hard. We had a hard time putting the top piece of the head and footboard on there. We had to unscrew the rest of the head board, put the top piece on and then screw it on, if that makes sense. Also the Allan tool it comes with is terrible! We actually used it and did it by hand but it needs to be tightened with a screw gun.
The height is good. Kids cant stand up but its roomy enough if youre sitting under it. And it does give the room a lot more real estate, not to mention room for a really cool fort under the bed!
For the price its great. And its pretty sturdyeven with the screws only hand tightened!
Its ok but smaller than expected.Pretty easy to assemble for one person. Only big dislike was the top three safety bars were not molded to proper length (too long), so they were not able to be installed. Safety is the biggest issue which is why I gave 3/5 stars. Disappointed i spent so much money for the main safety features to not work.
This was a nightmare to assembleAs my headline states, the bed is sturdy, but a nightmare to put together. Holes dont line up, and bed came with several rust spots. Its frustrating
We ordered two of these beds the same day. One came straight away, the other got delayed extra weeks but we did get them both and had no missing parts (they do include some extra parts as well!). Just as pictured. Easier to put together than some others of the same variety. Girls love them (and the space under them).
She loves it! Not very high, however shes almost 6 with short ceilings in her room so its a perfect fit! Easy to put together, we did it with 2 people! Didnt seem to take too long!
The bed frame is pretty nice. It was a slight struggle putting together, mostly with attaching the slats for beneath the mattress. A third were slightly warped, only enough that snapping them in was a struggle. But i got them in after a few trys. With the angle of some of the bolt locations, it made screwing them in fully difficult. The main frames bars are okayed size, i feel for being the main skeleton of the frame they could be a tad thicker. But the smaller ones supporting the main frame are fairly thin. But it seems to hold her and her mattress just fine. Tho Id say no jumping.
The ladder is a bit awkward with its size and angle.
The main concern on the frame (and i may just be a worried mom) is the height of the sides bordering the mattress. The mattress i got, i cant remember the height of it, was one it recommended to pair it with. The rails just barely rise above the mattress. Bout the width of my palm give or take. So for children who roll easier, may roll over the side if they move hard enough. Its not a far drop but still. Honestly, i know how my daughter sleeps and she have been sleeping in beds like this for 4 years and is used to it. Even with that she has a body pillow she places on that border that is thick enough that she would physically have to climb it.

Great bed for making a fort or hideout underneath

Easy set up
Fits a small room and delights the kid with the elevated bed.

Great bed!
It was packaged very nicely, nothing bent or broken. The bed itself is very sturdy! Gread deal for the price and my grandson absolutely loves it!
