I have a deep mattress that was too high up off the ground with my previous bed frame and needed something lower. I was a bit nervous about this item after reading the reviews but was aware of the potential issues prior to receiving it. First, I would think that using the supplied allen wrenches would be time consuming and might not make the screws tight enough. I had a ratcheting bit holder and correct size hex bit. This made the work much easier. I had some Loctite blue laying around and I added an additional amount on the screws for good measure. The two supporting legs looked like a problem area with weak . I took some JB Weld and glopped it on around the screw areas to hold them in place. The slats and velcro looked like they might become a problem so I just drilled through the board, velcro and frame with a cobalt bit and screwed down the first and last slats of each section. I was surprised that none of the slats cracked from drilling or screwing so that was good. On the top of the center beam there is a thin layer of foam and the slats had about 1/8 of an inch play in between. I took a thin piece of foam that was in the packaging and cut strips to fill in the gap better. These steps took some extra time but after assembling the frame was sturdy. There has been no swaying or movement and I am confident that it will hold up for a while. Tried with one other person and with the weight of the mattress was about 450 pounds and still held up.
1 Month Update: Hasnt budged at all. Holding up fine. I weigh 195 btw. The extra steps seemed to have helped but if you dont want to bother with that, probably better to find another brand which may cost a bit more.
Didnt get a picture of the box but it came in a long brown box simple to put together it was like 6 steps and this frame came with velcro on the frame so the slats dont slide around which is exactly what I was looking for. I do wish they wouldve put a couple more slats to make sure the mattress was protected but it is sufficient and doesnt ruin the mattress. I have a 12 inch foam mattress on top and it supports me and my husband and our bunny. Minor sqweakage But its expected from a frame only happens once in a while tho.
I ordered this bed for a friend who was in need of a bed frame. Its very simple to put together. I was able to do it by myself and Im 55years old with chronic pain. My only complaint is that the is not as heavy or strong as I had hoped. My friend likes it and shes on the heavy side so it must be okay for her weight.
I bought this and overall was impressed. I didnt want an expensive bed frame and honestly this was perfect. Very easy to assemble and I liked that the tools to assemble the bed were included. Ive bought other “ products and havent been let down. Would recommend if you want something simple and inexpensive!
This review is on the bed ONLY. I will try my best to stag positive, but when the box was missing the screws and directions this will be a task. Firstly refunded and shipped new screws, the pdf instructions were on the website.
ASSEMBLY: T
I Purchased a twin, new home furniture not arrived so I needed off the floor . Seeing that I exceed the max weight at 308 pnds / I knew Id either need to I go to home depot and get a piece of wood cut the size of the mattress or support the frame otherwise. Understand! that the spacing between and quality of wood planks will probably only hold an 80 lbs. As seen in the picture I double lapped the wood planks in the middle, screwed them together, and repurposed item B directly underneath the newly double lapsed planks. Seen in picture . Bed holds, creeks, but wood planks holding. Will throw bed away in a less than a few months when I get my furniture
Bought this for my soon 4 year old daughter. I intend to sometimes co sleep with her so I got her this twin to fit both of us. The 6 one is just about a good height. I am not 100 sure about the sturdiness though but for the price I paid compared to expensive twin and toddler beds I am ok with it. Well see how long it will last.
Its a cheap, simple frame that is perfect for my 2.5 year olds first big boy bed.
Im just sad to see quality control let this slip past them. Its missing one of the whole covers in the corner. Included a photo of one of the ones not missing.
I guess during the manufacturing process, they forgot to add the velcro on one side of the railing for the slats. It was OK. I got the bed on without any issues. Had to lift it up for a rearranging of the slats, but it worked. Now, for the piece de resistance. The delivery process. Everything seemed fine at first, but as I took a closer look at the bed. Part of the bracket on the main frame was bent over. All it took was a small peening hammer to fix, but I would have rather not had to do so. All in all, I still enjoy it. Hoping to not update.
I didnt realize just how low this would be without a box spring. I ended up moving this to own of the kids rooms as my body cant get that low. I can still slide totes for his toys underneath. The slats, I feel that a bigger center piece needs to hold these up. It makes me nervous sometimes about one of them breaking.

Seems OK With Additional Steps

Lower than you think
