So, we had never bought a couch before but are very happy with this purchase. We wanted a couch with a chaise seat, and loved that it had storage underneath and pulls out to be a guest bed if need be. We sit on this couch almost every night to watch TV and it's fine for that. It's on the stiffer end which we like, but supportive. We've had one or two guests sleep on it-- and they've said it isn't the most comfortable thing they've slept on, but for one night, it'll do! (We usually put extra blankets underneath a sheet so there's a little more cushion for a person's back).
It originally arrived in 3 boxes and was mostly self explanatory to put together. The only difficult part is how you attach the sides together with the interlocking pieces that slide into one another are sort of hard to get all 3 pieces to align in one movement. My husband and I had trouble with this at original set up, and once again when we moved, but once it's in (or at least 2 of the 3 pieces are interlocking) it's pretty stable.
We recently moved and it was easy to get from one home to the new home! We've had it for a little over a year now and it's still holding up well. Even to the cat scratches (if you can see them in the picture).
The only thing I dislike about this couch is the fabric. It's not necessarily bad, and not quite itchy, but it's not as soft/comfy as I'd like, so I was putting sheets on the couch itself to make it feel softer (and in case of spills) but recently purchased cushion covers (https://www..com/dp/B088H8P8SN?psc1andrefppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details) and crib mattress covers for the seat cushions since the chase makes it hard to buy a whole couch cover.(https://www..com/gp/product/B075F79YZW/refppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ieUTF8andpsc1).
Overall, pretty impressive for a $600 couch from that we'd never sat on/used before purchasing!
It looks much better in the picture than in reality. It is totally uncomfortable. You fill the frame with all your bones. it is cheap, but it is cheap in a way that you may regret buying it.
It needs more soft stuffing.
This was easy to put together and the comfort level is good for the convenience, but all the wood framing around each cushion piece is significantly harder than the cushion and pokes through, meaning when you stretch out you'll definitely feel the edge of the trundle and the seats poking into your back. Also, on our couch, the trundle wheel on the inside corner came out less than a week of using it and now comes out semi regularly and we have to put it back in all the time. The Ikea version of this couch is not that much more expensive, but the quality is wayyyy better and so is the durability. I recommend jumping for the Ikea couch if you're looking for something to last longer than say, two years.
For a kids play room or are this is great. My niece keeps all her toys in the chest and can open and close it her self. When we have movie night we pull it all the way out, Im only 5 and shes like 3 so we fit on the couch perfect feet not hanging off.. any bigger than that and you wont fit. Its not soft and does not have any move or give. Its super hard and stiff not comfortable for long periods of time
I purchase it for my multipurpose media room. It was easy to install for sure. It is ok to use for a couple of hours... but sleeping or sitting in for a longer time is uncomfortable.

Fabric is absorbed liquid very quickly, which doesn't give you enough time to clean up the mess.
My daughter drops the liquid it observers to fabric in a second - it took me lots of effort to clean up.

I originally ordered a couch of similar size, shape, and price from the Swedish store, but the estimated delivery date came and went with no information. I found this one, canceled the Swedish order, and crossed my fingers hoping this one would actually come. To my surprise, the couch came a day early. Took 2 people 20 minutes to put together, and is quite comfortable. The folks complaining about the couch being too stiff haven't owned a new couch before. No complaints yet.

Pull out broke within 90 days, and you'll feel the wood!
