Holy Miley that was easy to set up. I was able to have it completely put together by myself in 20 minutes. Everything seems super sturdy and my memory foam mattress feels like it is well supported. There were a few dings in some of the pieces but nothing to the point of affecting it structurally. I also noted the center leg doesnt touch the ground, i have never seen this in a bed before, but the weight of the mattress has brought it down.
So far I am very pleased with this bed frame. Assembly is straight forward and easy and the finished frame is very sturdy. This thing is built like a tank. :-) The wooden slats are 1/2 thick laminated plywood which are very sturdy and the remaining frame and legs are heavy duty metal. I also like the simple, clean look of the frame. Highly recommend!
I am disabled and my daughter, elderly mother, and I were able to assemble this frame. It took about two hours because at first I thought some of the screws were missing, and the instructions are a bit confusing, but Im pretty handy so I figured it out. The screws arent listed by type, ? but when you insert them, you can figure out which one goes where, plus one set has bolts and its easy to tell where those belong. It hurt my finger using the island keys, having a drill with the attachment would have helped, but we assembled it, and I cant really complain. Good value for a fraction of the price of other brands. I did buy some pool noodles, based on another review of the item, because they give you two small bumpers they fit the middle of the bars, no one stubs their toe on the side of the bed, its at the ends that need padding. I just cut one up, and wrapped them around the bed, and when I hit my toe this morning, it was like hitting a foam pillow, lol. Wood slabs are firm, not cheap wood like a daybed that we purchased.
When looking for a new bed frame for a teen son's rom I went with the wonderful reviews for this platform and have not regretted it. The bed is extremely well designed and the metal frame as preassembled as it possible. The directions make sense and all tools and parts were present - Please note I believe the same pack of hardware is used on multiple bed sizes hence you may have a few bolds left over if assembling a smaller bed size. It has been in use and never makes a sound and is very, very, strong and solid We topped it with a 13 inch mattress and cannot be more pleased
I purchased this bed frame for a California king. It was actually relatively simple to assemble. Although you receive a lot of parts in the Box it only took about 15 minutes Tops to assemble. You receive multiple bundles of wooden planks as well as the hardware to assemble the frame and the frame as well. At 1st look the frame looks very complicated to deal with however after unfolding it and putting it out on a flat surface it was relatively easy to figure out which direction was which. Another feature that I like about this bed is the elevated height. It gives you a bunch of Room underneath of the bed for additional storage. There's not much other to say about this except for it seems to be a sturdy frame and should last me a very long time period

Needs better instructions, but sturdy frame
Instructions were lacking in which bolts go where. Otherwise, frame is sturdy when assembled. All pieces were in package and arrived quickly.
