Platform is great for back issues and does not need a springboard mattress just a regular Theraputic will suffice. Pics show these supports in the middle of the bed.
The bed is aming looking. Few things noted. The plank sits on the side of the bed around the middle. We have kicked our foot a few times. There is a vertical plank running in the middle of the bed that is uncomfortable. Being one person on the bed I fall on one side of the vertical plank like sinking holes Its uncomfortable if you lay on it, you rise higher for some reason. I had to visit this review as I have been bed ridden 5 months with Cancer and its not comfortable because of the vertical plank running from the headboard to the foot of the bed. Its bang right in the middle of the bed. Ill post the pic later weak cannot lift the mattress.
Good quality. Very nice bed frame for the price. It came double boxed for protection and that all the styrofoam filler pieces were wrapped in plastic. The frame itself was very easy to put together and all the instructions were easy to understand and the hardware well marked. The ratchet tool included was a great help. I even liked that they included extra screws in case you lost some. This bed is very sturdy when put together.
Good. I bought the queen bed. Its sturdy and very easy to put together. The color looks pretty much same as shown in the picture. Very comfortable. Worth the buy.
Perfect. I am happy with the purchase of this bed. However, the footboard piece was slightly damaged. I did contact the company and it appears they are going to send a replacement. I will try to follow up once that happens. Overall, I think the bed is good.

Good quality. Bought this for my 4 year old son. It does the job and looks nice in his room. Definitely a good value for the price.
