My grandson (6) loves his new big boy bed! He has been sleeping with his parents, but from night one, he is on his own, full time, no issues! The bed was ok to put together, directions were not great, but if you think it through you will get it. The rails on the steps are narrow and hurt his feet, so i cut pool noodles (learned that from other reviews) and he has had no problems. The rail slats that hold the mattress arent very thick, so we put a strict no jumping on the bed rule, in time Ill put a brace underneath just for peace of mind. But it is a run for a little boy who loves his own space. We put his old toddler mattress underneath the bed for a more comfortable place to hang out. LOVE LOVE LOVE
This bed is aming! We bought two for our daughters and absolutely love them. They are labor intensive to put together and youre definitely going to want 2/3 people working on it. And pay attention to the instructions! There are so many pilot holes and such that matter! But overall, we are so pleased. Theyre sturdy, look beautiful, and the storage is a great feature. I love that the shelves have little edges on front and back so bins and such cant just be pushed off. The first one took us about 2.5 hours to put together, but the second was much faster once we knew what we were doing. what else can I say
Product dimensions are inaccurate, the bed is actually 48 inches tall. Some of the pre/drilled holes stripped out instantly, before the screws even started to get tight. Some of the pieces were visibly damaged before they were painted. Also pay close attention to mattress size when ordering this bed, warning on bed states no larger than 38.5 wide, most are 39 which makes a really tight squeeze when trying to put bedding on. But other than that it's nice
I love the look and the multiple functions of this bed. A true space saver and soooo cute once completed.
There were no issues of missing pieces or damanged wood. It was just REALLY difficult for me to assemble alone. There were 4 or 5 different assembly books and there were no words. Pictures and numbers only. Because it can be assembled multiple ways, it was confusing. Challenging but SOOOO worth it in the end.
We like this set as it came with desk, bookcase and 3 drawer chest. It came in three boxes and each one had separate hardware and instructions for the different pieces.
I spend about 5 hours total assembling the three pieces and then the bed which connected to each piece.
Very well designed set and I had no issues with assembling. The bed is made in Bril which is probably the first time I had purchased furniture made in Bril. I would say the quality is much better and the instructions were well written.

This piece will work if youre not too demanding on the quality. Nothing to compare with IKEA which I previously bought but it didnt work for me. The assembly instruction is poor and led me to a few mistakes Id rather avoid. Some of the wood pieces are stitched from smaller parts and have knots. Some pieces are barely painted (you can see a wood texture through the thin layer of paint). Some pieces are made from MDF, not wood. Clearly overpriced for that quality but will work for some time.I am so disappointed.
