We love the look of the Eames Eiffel chairs and wanted to get something similar for our new dining table. However, our dining table is on the higher end of the height spectrum (30), while authentic Eames chairs are on the lower end of height (with the lowest part of the seat being even lower). This makes for an uncomfortable eating experience, as I am a petite person.
These chairs fit the bill well, as they are higher than Eames chairs, but still have that clean look. I purchased the Smoke Gray and did not have any issues with the plastic dimpling or deforming. The plastic shell isn't quite as rigid as my authentic Eames chairs, but they are good enough.
We do have to put chair socks on the legs so they don't scratch hardwood floors. There are small felt pads that ship over the threads on the bottom of the seat that I tried to use on the chair legs/feet, but those came off quickly. Socks aren't the best look, but they do the job well without a rug.
Edit 4/17/21: Reducing to 4 stars because the condition of the chairs is highly dependent upon how carefully it is shipped. Therefore, the packaging needs to be improved to ensure the chairs arrive in good condition.
I originally purchased 4 chairs, even though I needed 6-8, to make sure they were the right height for my dining table. The first shipment came in perfectly, but when I ordered another set of 4, one of the seats had very visible white marks around one of the round screw inserts, as well as other spot deformations. One of the leg frames also came with the plastic foot broken off. I was unable to superglue it back on (superglue does not work well with plastic), so I had to use a few strips of tape to go around the end.
These chairs are trendy. Easy to assemble, I did two, my 8 year old did two. She loves the comfortableness size. Her feet don't hurt because of the contour. Great for school time.

As much as I would like to have beautiful mid century upholstered chairs, it is something that will never happen as they would never stay clean in my home. These are a great alternative. Easy to assemble, easy to clean and keep up with. They even came with floor protectors. They are great for a small space as they do not take too much space.
These chairs are so modern looking and sturdy. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy they were to put together. I did all four chairs in less than 15 minutes — just four screws with washers per chair and done. I agonized over which chairs to purchase and Im very happy with my choice.
These chairs are awesome! They look really nice and are really easy to clean which is a plus as a mom with toddlers. The price is pretty good and they arrived fast.
