Bed arrived with some chips but not terrible considering the condition of the boxes. I discovered during assembly that I was missing some cams and screws bur I was planning on going to puck up some hardwood for reinforcement anyways so I spent about $12 on some 6 ft pine strip, (to connect the head and foot halves together) and extra cams and screws.
It's a very nice looking bed, but it seems to be a little narrower than my son's mattress and I don't think I would trust it not to break without a little DIY strengthening.
Also, if your drawers don't fit, try swapping them. They are slightly different sizes.
Im missing the rails that go to the drawers the whole tracks are missing I bough them two months ago and when moving into my new house I went to assemble them parts are missing
First, it came with two sets of instructions. One says its revised and to throw the other out. The revised instructions has the wrong parts list. Some parts had the pilot holes in the wrong spots. Was able to get it together but had to modify tome parts.
My daughter wanted a bid girl room update for Christmas. We purchased this bed, among other items. This bed was very difficult to assemble. The instructions were very hard to follow and many parts and pieces were mislabeled. Despite this, and hours later, the bed was complete. We moved on to placing the new bedding. When a bit of weight was placed on the center support (between the drawers), the frame snapped. And now we have a very angry mommy and daddy and a heartbroken 8-year-old little girl.
I scoured the Internet high and low for the perfect bedframe. This checked all the boxes for me. The color, the padded back, the drawers, and it comes in California king, for a really good price. It was a bit of a headache that they first sent me the wrong size bedframe and I had to pack it back up, wait for them to come pick it up and send the right one. But aside from that, I love this thing and have no complaints

Assembly was hard and the drawers are very flimsy and don't glide well but overall a good buy in my opinion.

It arrived with broken bed drawer underneath.. too big item to return.. really need drawer for storage
