I love love love this trundle. It was more or less easy to put together. Everything had stickers that labeled it. Some came off but if you can use deductive reasoning and the directions you can figure it out. My only real gripe with this set up was the drawers. Idk if anyone else had trouble with these but I couldnt get one to slide in and ended up breaking it hit Im going to e6000 it and in all of them the screws dont hold super well so I would recommend would glue along with nailing them in. Very pleased!
Bought this bed for my daughter as her first big girl bed. When I looked online, I thought this was a good quality bed. I liked the 3 individual drawers under the trundle vs others I found with 1 large drawer. After assembly, I was disappointed in the quality. It is not real wood but a particle board with laminate. The laminate was damaged in places, posing an injury risk from sharp edges. The laminate was worn and warped in some spots. The screws are visable, not recessed so they cant be covered with a cap. The drawers were not pre/drilled with holes which made assembly a little more difficult. The bed is sturdy I will give it that, but the quality and and overall look are not worth the money. Pictures included to show the poor laminate job. Trundle bed is a little difficult to slide in and out, not something a child could do. Took my husband 2.5 hrs to build, and that may just be because he is a manufacturing engineer. Sturdy for light items.
This is a cheap bed and the materials used matched the price. Overall I would expect the bed to be sturdier than it is. The wood is cheap, the bottom portion of the head and foot board is a 1/16 in thin piece of particle board. The three drawers are so small they are essentially unusable. The trundle slides extremely easily on hardwood floors but the clearance is very low so on carpet i doubt it will be easy to move.
For a little bit more money you can get twice the quality much smaller than pictured.
Love this bed for my 3 yr old. Easy to assemble. Delivered in two boxes on separate days. Only complaints is that as with most trundle beds, the wheels do not lock. Need to be observant when sliding trundle back under bed as it can get a little off center, but not hard to maneuver. Otherwise a great bed. Quality products.
Unless you have a big work space and great upper body strength, this is a two person job for sure!! Id buy another for the price but I believe anyone over 150lbs. would be an issue for the structure. Be careful! This bed is good for kids. Nice product.
