I absolutely love this. It is heavy and sturdy, easy to put together and absolutely beautiful. I wasnt excited about the fake fire sound when I first turned it on, but surprisingly, you get used to it pretty fast.
Im in love with this stand. Very sturdy. Looks great. Not overly hard to put together by yourself. Just a note on assembly though if you plan on putting the shelf in the center in, do it BEFORE you put the back on. Usually you can put shelves in once everything is done, but with this, the shelf wont fit through the front opening. But other then that I would highly recommend this stand
My husband and daughter put this together easily not a lot of pieces like IKEA. Easy understandable directions. Looks great in my living room. My daughter loved the quality so much shes ordering a desk from this company for her daughters room.
Fairly easy to assemble if you follow provided instructions (I would say assembly time varies per each individual). Came in two shipments: fireplace first, the next day the unit itself arrived. I got very blessed and had no issues with product damage upon arrival;like others seem tove had.
I love the color which is the light gray, and it is very sound and sturdy. I would not recommend putting anything like plants on it unless you put some sort of dip tray or coaster underneath. This unit will definitely warp if wet, and to play it safe, if youre going to place and burn glass candles on top, I would still place something thick underneath your candle because the potential of a heat ring is there. In fact, I actually placed semi thick, woven dinner mats on top of mine, then placed dip trays on top of that; under my plants.
The fireplace is surprisingly realistic and soothing, and blows my mind how well it actually heats up my apartment. I did not think for one moment that the heater would work as well as it does, so kudos to the manufacturer. I might add, however, that the humming sound (although very slight, almost unnoticeable for most) the fireplace makes is annoying if you do not have your television on. I wish there was a way they could fix the humming sound, and replace it with a realistic crackling sound. I also wish that the heat setting on the remote when lowering the temperature, did not affect the volume down on my television. Every time I turn down the heat, it turns down the volume on my television WTH.
Also, the grate bar used for realism, doesnt do much for me. In fact, it hinders the experience. It would be nice if they replaced the superficial grate bar, and replaced it with fading/flickering coals (if that makes sense).
Another suggestion would be to place a plastic peel stick film over the glass doors when shipping. The glass on my unit arrived semi/scratched because there was nothing protecting the glass.
In closing, it really is a beautiful unit at a very reasonable price. And the fireplace absolutely blows my mind even if there is a few suggestions I would prefer, its still definitely worth the money.
I am very happy with my purchase. It is solid and I think it looks good. After looking in stores, online, and at used tv stands, I feel like this provided good value for the money.
A word about assembly the company should extend the estimate for assembly time and mention that a power tool for screwing in the screws is a huge benefit. (Frankly, I would say a power tool is a necessity!) It took my son and I two hours to put it together and he is very good at this type of activity.
I would recommend that you lay all the pieces out before starting assembly to determine if any parts are missing or damaged. Ours was perfect.
I do highly recommend this product. Just be prepared to have the proper tools and to spend the time, with two people, on the assembly.

Directions could not be better, very easy to assemble but time consuming, be patient, looks like a high priced piece of furniture when finished!
